Having a hard time at school?

If you’re finding it hard being at school, you will always have help.

It would be great if your school years could always be happy and easy. But sometimes they might be difficult for you – for a day, a week, a month or longer.

The kind of problems you could face

There is no typical worry or problem that school children have but the following are the sorts of things that might worry them:

  • bullying
  • confidence – for example, in making friends
  • coping with homework
  • doing well in exams
  • feeling under pressure to do things they don’t always want to because their friends tell them to
  • problems at home.

What can you do?

Because you spend so much time at school it’s important for you to feel happy and comfortable there. So if you ever are worried about anything, it’s important you talk to people about how you are feeling.
