Children can learn exciting traditional rhythms from West Africa on the djembe while having fun and developing skills.

Children of 6+ years can learn exciting traditional rhythms from West Africa on the djembe drum: a fun and interesting way to explore your creativity and start to learn about music and rhythm. There are FREE taster sessions taking place in February before you decide to sign up.

FREE Taster Sessions:

East Oxford: Monday 13th February 5pm-6pm at Fusion Arts Centre, Princes Street, Cowley, Oxford, OX4 1DD

North Oxford: Friday 17th February 5pm-6pm at Summertown Church Hall, Portland Road, Oxford,    OX2 7EZ

 

Learn new skills and have FUN!

We will also feature percussion activities and games on a wide variety of instruments that will develop listening and coordination skills, confidence and leadership abilities, and concentration. But most of all, we will have FUN!

Cost of course: £50 per child for 10 weeks
